America’s Best DJ Contest is on tour this summer and will be stopping at Lima Restaurant & Lounge on July 3rd!! Funny how this contest has so many links to Washington, DC. Or maybe it’s not… Maybe our scene just kicks that much ass. Either way, here’s the scoop:
It started at DEMF, was just at Starscape and will be hitting every major club city in the nation. It all culminates with a closing ceremony in Vegas at Rain @ The Palms. By voting for your favorite DJ you are automatically entered to win a trip for 2 and VIP access to the party.
DC connections: Obviously the fact that local house talent Saeed Younan is headlining The Contest’s DC visit at Lima is one. Two of last year’s top 10 are perennial DC favorites Cedric Gervais and homegrown DJ Enferno. Also on that list are Dubfire, Sharam and a TON of other Glow artists. No wonder America’s Best DJ Contest is coming to Lima Restaurant & Lounge.
