Beatport is putting on a massive remix contest for Afrojack and Quintino’s recent track, “Selecta.” The winner will have their track released on Afrojack’s Wall Recordings.
Here’s what you need to do:
1. June 14th – July 4th: Download – The remix parts will be available for download and cost $3.49.
2. June 21st – July 4th: Submit – Upload your remix on Beatport. During this phase the entries can be listened to, but not voted for.
3. July 5th – July 19th: Vote – The public votes for their favorite remixes by “spinning” them.
The grand prize winner will be announced on August 16th, 2011
“Selecta” is described by Beatport as a “supersized electro-house anthem brimming with a squealing lead, blissed-out chord stabs, and a breakdown that’s so mental, the record ought to come with a straightjacket.”
