Electro Dude, The Numb3r5, Breaking Up
3 tracks to kick start your summer
Gregori Klosman adds a bit of techy smoothness to Chuckie’s Dutch-influenced roots. After releases on Spinnin’ and Chuckie’s own Dirty Dutch imprint, Gregori has become a household name in the Dutch house.
The two are at it again for “NUMB3R5” on the legendary Big Beat Records. Featuring a catchy synth buildup leading into a euphoric catharsis of the groaning bassline that represents modern electro, “NUMB3R5” is set to blow things up this summer.
If you’re more into a dirty, wobbly sound, Chuckie’s “Electro Dude” might be a little more up your alley. Collaborating with Dirty Dutch newcomers GLOWINTHEDARK, Electro Dude takes its name from the ubiquitous “right before the drop” sample during which a voice informs us that “this is fuckin’ electro, dude.”
If shifty progressive piano lines are more your thing, a forthcoming collab with Italian duo Promise Land might be your tune. They joined forces with Gregori Klosman on last year’s summer jam “Endless.” The dizzying blend of Amanda Wilson’s vocals and rising synth energy creates a tense sonic atmosphere that releases into a signature side-chained, detuned Dutch saw.
