Nero to Support Madonna on MDNA Tour

Queen of Pop Recognizes EDM’s Significance

Madonna is all over DJ culture this year. Now she’s adding British dubstep duo Nero to support her on the new MDNA Tour!

madonna avicii mdnaAt Ultra Music Festival, she introduced Avicii and claimed a “DJ saved my life” as he dropped her latest single, “Girls Gone Wild.” Then paying homage to Cedric Gervais and his latest track while subliminally referencing her MDNA album, she took the mic and asked, “how many people in this crowd have seen Molly?” Soon after, Deadmau5 caught wind of this stunt, bashed her, and opened up a Twitter slam.

With all this hype, there’s no question why the multi-talented Nero will open for Madonna on 26 select dates of her latest tour, including performances at New York’s Madison Square Garden and Miami’s American Airlines Arena.

Nero adds elements of music diversity and raw power to Madonna’s MDNA Tour. Not just your average “dubsteppers,” this duo comprised of Joe Ray and Daniel Stephens is best known for powerful basslines and last year’s musical phenomenon, the Dubstep Symphony.

Madonna and the MDNA Tour will be in Washington, DC on September 23-24 at the Verizon Center. Sorry, no Nero!
