“The Greatest Trance Contest… Of All Time”
This is your chance to join an elite list… Tiesto, Richard Durand. Only two DJs can say they’ve been featured on (arguably) trance music’s most storied mix series. Black Hole Recordings/Songbird want you to have a crack at mixing the 10 year anniversary of the infamous In Search Of Sunrise series.
Here’s the low down:
Black Hole put together a catalog of 198 songs for you to choose from for the mix. There’s two 99-track lists available on Beatport: List 1, List 2
Judges: Richard Durand & Label
Winners based on:
- Track selection
- Intuition
- Mixing skills
- Whether the mix captures the absolute essence of an ISOS disc
The Rules:
- Mix must be submitted on or before May 9, 2012
- 15 track max
- 78 minutes or less
- Must contain only tracks from the above-linked Beatport packages
- Must have full numbered tracklist w/ the artists, titles and remix names in Microsoft Word document
- 1 entry per contestant
- Must include separate Word document with your real name, DJ name, email address, postal address, full phone number
- Must submit via weTransfer.com as a 320kbps MP3 file and sent to isos10@blackholerecordings.com
Use whatever you want to make your mix! The winner, to be announced in May, will have his/her mix featured as the third disc of In Search Of Sunrise 10: Australia. You have until May 9. Good luck!
