SHM Releases Single for Absolut Vodka
Earlier this week marked the official release of Swedish House Mafia’s new single “Greyhound.”
“Greyhound” is a banger released in association with Absolut Vodka, who commissioned SHM to write an original tune in celebration of the new Absolut Greyhound vodka.
They house super group opened their Madison Square Garden massive with the then-unreleased track.
The release is a no-nonsense, big room house track with absolutely no vocals – just pure adrenaline. Piano chords add a subtle touch to an epic tune.
In the official music video for “Greyhound,” SHM members Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello are shown electronically controlling hounds in a dog-race and being cheered on by competing elites sipping Absolut Greyhound.
As the latest artists to represent Absolut, the trio joins the ranks of past Absolute collaborators that include Jay-Z, Lenny Kravitz, and Andy Warhol. Absolut, a Swedish brand, has always chosen the crème-de-la-crème of contemporary music culture to promote the Absolut trademark.
