“Take One” follows Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso and Axel Hedfors (Axwell) over the course of 2 years, 285 gigs and 15 countries. It’s an unscripted movie about house music’s biggest stars (and their friends) living the proverbial dream.
Director Christian Larson, who travelled with the trio, recounts his first experience.
“I was on vacation in France and they had a gig in St. Tropez… we ended up going to the gig and hanging out at the afterparty at 9 in the morning. Sebastian says, ‘Why don’t we go to lunch at this place?’ I said, ‘That’s three hours away.’ And he was like, ‘Let’s take a fucking helicopter.’ He goes and wakes up Steve and they take me along in a helicopter ride over the French Riviera and we have lunch and then the helicopter picks us up and takes us someplace else, and we end up at their next gig.”
The album is set to release at the end of October and the film itself at the end of November. Hmmm… we wonder where Axwell and Steve Angello will be at the end of November? Hmmmmm
